DescriptionBlack background with flowers in different colors; gold ornate frame consisting of two ovals with portraits, at top of frame is (R. Martin Abetya Pintor de Cosas Raras 2002) and at bottom of frame is the title (Indios). The dual portrait is of the Native American Indian deity Quetzalcoatl on the left with large red and white plumed headdress; the Asian Indian deity Shiva on the right with a third eye, snake around neck and tongue sticking out. The two portraits are a pun on the geographic ambiguity of Columbus's "discovery".
