On 4/11/2017, Jordan (MOA security guard) notified Collections and Registration that two 3" pieces of the sculpture had detached from the piece and as a result had fallen to the ground. It appears this was caused by the natural deterioration of the piece.

The two loose pieces were removed, documented, and are now housed in the Bits and Bobs box (a box including loose bits, extra parts and removed parcels), which is housed in Collections Storage (S001, C001, S00).

Should it be decided to reattach the two pieces back to the body of the sculpture sometime in the future during conservation, the loose pieces can be found in the Bits and Bobs box
