DescriptionA long oval stelae with stepped top resembling a seat; deep short groves throughout; very colorful with abstract images of flora (hollyhocks) and water. Artist refers to these as "closed forms". They are like sculptures and intended to look like landscapes.Text Entries
The Ernest J. and Edith M. Schwartz collection was donated to the Department of Cultural Affairs. Parts of the collection were then divided amongst the four Museum of New Mexico museums. The rest of the collection is to be sold to benefit future acquisitions.
