eMuseum Notes
David Scheinbaum started photographing hip hop performers in 2000 after attending a concert in Albuquerque with his son Zac. Impressed by the community of Hip Hop artists and enthusiasts, Scheinbaum worked to capture with his camera the sensation of being at the concerts. In this picture, the image of Professor Griff blurs as he leans close to a crowd of animated listeners, underscoring the connection between musician and audience.
