The drawing was received by the museum already framed. It was assessed that the frame was not original and was also in very poor condition and so the drawing was removed from the frame. The frame was destroyed as it was not historic and would not be used in the future due to its poor condition. The inscriptions and labels that were affixed to the paper backing of the frame were removed prior to disposal and are now stored in the Accession file.
