source for this image is a brochure from the 1933 World’s Fair in Chicago that
belonged to the artist’s father. The theme of the fair was “Century of
Progress” and it featured many streamlined, Art Deco-inspired pavilions made
with contemporary building materials. Pictured is a detail of the Travel and
Transportation Building.
