Historical text from the accompanying booklet reads as: Derrotado el huertismo, los jefes revolucionarios se reunieron en 1914, en Aguascalientes, con el objeto de formular el programa social de la Revolución y de establecer las bases para encarrilar nuevamente al país dentro de los postulados constitucionales. Después de apasionadas deliberaciones los convencionistas eligieron Presidente Provisional al general Eulalio Gutiérrez, destacado y noble jefe norteño.Alberto Morales Jimenez.

Translation: In 1914, after defeating Huerta the revolutionary leaders met in Aguascalientes to conceive the social platform of the Revolution, and once again lay the groundwork to return the country to its constitutional principles. After enthusiastic deliberations the Convencionistas (Conventionists) chose as Interim President General Eulalio Gutiérrez, a well-regarded and compassionate leader from the North.
