Historical text from the accompanying booklet reads as: El Ejército Nacional es el pueblo mismo. Alberto Morales Jimenez.

Translation: The National Army is the people themselves. Ours is an Army of Peace. In addition to serving established institutions Army soldiers contribute in the implementation of great works of social benefit such as the creation of local roads, forest care, and school construction. For such reasons soldiers are generally cherished by the Mexican people. Translated by Aída Wester, Intern 2017.
