Description
From Hal West: "A Hal West Showing at Cerrillos Flats. Hal's dead, but Hal shows up...anyway. So does his sister, Etna. Hal notices things about his paintings others don't. He's thrilled. And though in life, Hal didn't know or respect Pablo Picasso -- they now sit together in the corner of the old living room, smoking and talking. The young Jewish women in the kitchen talk of art and sex. The older women near the stove speak loudly of food. Later, Canyon Road with working class card players, Italian opera, memories, warm fall sun - a beautiful young silver haired guide meets me at the old red gate - tells me to trust myself - know my own feelings."
