eMuseum Notes

Zeke Berman’s artistic process involves constructing scenes to be recorded with photography. This process combines the tradition of still-life painting with tabletop photography, and results in an image that is a composite of drawing, sculpting, and photography. Here, Berman has created the illusion of a line drawing illustrating a mathematical computation. This effect is achieved by tying together a series of strings in front of a velvet curtain.
