According to Noggle's longtime friend and studio assistant Jim Holbrook, this was photographed in Noggle's back yard. The women pictured are (left to right): Anne Noogle, Marjorie Shellenberger, Flo Hardin and Lil Dubrovnic, with Noggle's dog Pepe. Shellenberger was Noggle's girlfriend at the time and Hardin and Dubrovnic were Noggle's friends from Kirtland Air Force Base, where Noggle worked.
The print is solarized and Noggle's longtime friend and studio assistant Jim Holbrook speculated that Noggle tried the technique because it was favored by her teacher Van Deren Coke.
