The donors are Mary Pease, (1918-2004), the artist's elder sister and only sibling and her husband Chester Pease, (1914-1978).

Esteemed photographer Richard Rudisill (1932-2011), pictured at left, was a Professor of Art History at the University of New Mexico and Photographic Historian at the Photo Archive, Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe. He and Noggle were well acquainted.

Robert Ewing (1932-2012), pictured at right, was director of the Museum of Fine Arts (later New Mexico Museum of Art) from 1965-1972 and engaged Noggle as the museum's first photography curator (1970-1976), apparently on a volunteer basis.

The setting for the picture may be the Canton Cafe on San Francisco Street or the original location of Tia Sophia's, both iconic restaurants in Santa Fe.

The Museum owns duplicate copies of this image. The accession numbers are: 1996.59.44 and 3425.23PH.
The photograph was made with Noggle's Panon camera.
