In a conversation with curator Katherine Ware on 6/10/2016, Noggle's longtime friend and studio assistant Jim Holbrook said he believed the picture was made in the Sausalito home of the artist Walter Kuhlman, who is pictured with his son.

For another image of Walter Kuhlman in the collection, see 2016.2.23.
The photograph was made with Noggle's Panon camera.
The donors are Mary Pease, (1918-2004), the artist's elder sister and only sibling and her husband Chester Pease, (1914-1978).
Based on a June 2016 conversation between curator Kate Ware and Jim Holbrook, Noggle's longtime friend and studio assistant, Noggle's niece Dale Pease has two paintings by the artist Walter Kuhlman, who is featured in this photograph
