In a conversation with curator Katherine Ware on 6/10/2016, Noggle's longtime friend and studio assistant Jim Holbrook identified the subject as Eugenie Shonnard, a sculptor living on Camino de Monte Sol in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The donors are Mary Pease, (1918-2004), the artist's elder sister and only sibling and her husband Chester Pease, (1914-1978).
The picture was made with Noggle's Panon camera.
