Description
John Brinckerhoff Jackson, (1909-1996), was an innovative interpreter of the American cultural landscape. He retired to La Cienega, near Santa Fe and wrote essays for the museum's catalog The Essential Landscape, published in 1985, in which this portrait of him appears.
