Description
The subject is the esteemed photographer and photo historian Richard Rudisill, (1932-2011). In a conversation with curator Katherine Ware on 6/10/2016, Noggle's longtime friend and studio assistant Jim Holbrook, stated that Rudisill "hated" this portrait. According to Holbrook, when he asked to take a picture of Rudisill, the subject said, "You're not going to make me look like Anne Noggle did, are you?"
