eMuseum Notes
In a conversation with curator Katherine Ware, Noggle's longtime friend and studio assistant Jim Holbrook said that during the 1980's Noggle held semi-regular events in her garage, which they sometimes called "Albu-Kabuki Nights."  One of the activities was creating vignettes for a live video and then photographing images from the television monitor with black-and-white film. Holbrook mentioned that Anne bought the blond wig used in this image when the two were in London for Noggle's exhibition at the Photographers Gallery in 1987.
