Toni Birkmeyer was a famous Viennese dancer who appeared solo in many classical ballets, was a soloist, and also served as ballet master of the Vienna Opera, Ballet.  Birkmeyer also appeared in the 1929 London production of Cole Porter's "Wake up and Dream."
