DescriptionA diptych of various shades of yellows with thick brown and black lines along the outer edges. Thin black lines form multiple geometric shapes throughout the body of the image. The shapes are mainly triangular in nature.
Text Entries
Aleppo was completed in 1985, three years after the artist traveled to London, Paris, Armenia and Turkey with his family. The artist was impressed and inspired by the mosque architecture and Islamic art which continues to influence his painting and lithographs today.
