The image is two views of a single petroglyph at Comanche Gap in Galisteo, New Mexico.
The artist says she began making cyanotypes while a student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she studied historic processes with Fred Ensley. She later went on to teach the cyanotype process at the College of Santa Fe. She calls it “low tech photography” and loves to draw or cut the surfaces of prints.
