DescriptionA landscape scene featuring mountains and a small farmstead. At the lower left is a pair of men talking with a dog standing between them. The farmer on the right wears a cowboy hat and red shirt; he is holding the plow that is attached to two horses. The horses stand in front of a small patch of earth that has been tilled. The visitor on the left holds the reins of his saddled horse. In the background is an adobe house with a clothes line out in front and thatched roof barn. The far left background features snowcapped mountains.
