BiographyJohn Beech was born in England, studied at the University of California, Berkeley, and presently lives in New York. He works with a reductive visual language but often adds his own wry and often humorous twist to everyday forms such as bumpers, dumpsters, or wheeled vehicles. His works are included in the permanent collecitons of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Berkeley Art Museum and the Oakland Museum. (Addison 2013)
