Diane Rosenblum

American, born 1964
BiographyMs. Rosenblum is an emerging artist who received her B.A. from Oberlin College in studio art and history, her M.S. at Brooks Institute of Photography, and has completed additional coursework at the San Francisco Art Institute. She is presently an adjunct professor in the Multimedia Arts Department at Berkeley City College. She is the recipient of the Phelan Award in Printmaking (2007) from WHERE and a finalist in Photolucida’s annual Critical Mass competition (2011). In recent years, her work has been exhibited in solo exhibition at the Sol Mednick Gallery of Photography at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and at private galleries including The Cain Schulte Gallery in San Francisco; the Skinner Howard Gallery in Sacramento; the Alysia Duckler Gallery in Portland, Oregon; and at Foster Goldstrom Art and Architecture in Oakland, California. Her work has appeared in numerous group shows throughout California and her work is in collections including that of the Albertina Museum in Vienna, The Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, the Henry Museum at the University of Washington in Seattle, and the Oakland Museum of California in Oakland.
