Katherine Gray

Gray was born in Los Angeles, California and received an Associate Degree from Ontario College of Art, Toronto, Canada and an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design where she worked for two years as an instructor. Gray is currently an Associate Professor at Cal State University in San Bernardino, and serves on the Board of Trustees of Haystack School of Crafts, Deer Isle, Maine. She previously served on the Board of Trustees of Pilchuck Glass School, Stanwood, Washington. Gray creates functional and non-functional vessels and sculptures utilizing glass she has blown as well as found glass and other “pre-existing” materials.
