Benito Huerta

Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, Benito Huerta earned his BFA in commercial design from the University of Houston and his MA from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces in 1978. He Was Co-Founder, Executive Director and Emeritus Board Director of Art Lies, A Texas Art Journal. Huerta is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he served as the Director/Curator of The Gallery at UTA Since 1997-2022.
