BiographyPaul Sarkisian studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Otis Art Institute and Mexico City College. A fixture of the Los Angles art scene of the 1950s and ’60s he moved with his wife Carol and son Peter to Cerrillos, New Mexico in 1971, shortly after an invitation to create a portfolio of prints at the Tamarind Institute. His career is marked by many stylistic changes as he has worked as an abstract expressionist, photo realist, and minimalist painter over his seventy-year career as an artist. (Scully, 2017).
