Will Evans

Emigrated with family to New Mexico in 1893. He traded with the Navajo. In 1917 Will Evans purchased the Shiprock Trading Company which he sold in 1948. He built and painted furniture and many other decorative items, to supplement his income and for gifts to family and friends. The Farmington Museum has a collection of Evans's work (Marsha Bol 2008).
