DescriptionCarved wood with bullfighter and bull.Baumann created the block for a bullfight poster in 1925. He then used it again in 1930 and then in 1936, he carved away the original borders and created this checkerboard pattern. This was done for a promotional supplement for the Santa Fe New Mexican Publishing Corporation for the 1936 fiesta.
