DescriptionScene of three figures wearing black clothes and white head coverings. They are standing on a light brown and gray path, two in the foreground facing each other, one in the midground between them. The figure closest in the foreground holds a tool over its right shoulder. The figure to the right is sitting on a low wall or ledge. Three or four buildings with light brown walls and red sloped roofs line the street. The closest structure to the viewer on the left has a chimney and open shutters, the one across from it has a tall wooden cross-like object beside it. The sky is mostly cloudy with some blue visible near the top edge.On the lower edge, an uneven sliver of board is visible past the edge of the painted canvas.
