DescriptionPeach atop several large leaves on a platter.eMuseum Notes
After a stint in Boston, photographer Judith Vejvoda continued her studies at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque where she adopted a more painterly approach to making photographic prints. In this spare but elegant still life, she emphasizes rounded forms and the delicately varied surfaces of the platter, leaves, and peach, to create a vivid, sensuous experience.
