This piece is from Betty Hahn’s series “Cut Flowers” (1978-87), a group of still life compositions with flowers that she made in a variety of photographic and mixed-media processes. Hahn made this print during a visit to Cambridge, Mass., where she had an opportunity to work with Polaroid’s 20 x 24 camera.
