eMuseum Notes
Betty Hahn’s series “Collect from Berlin” was inspired by B-grade movies and the genre of film noir. The ambiguous and uneasy atmosphere of this picture is emphasized by the artist’s use of darkness and indistinct forms. Rather than concentrating on storytelling, she creates a strong mood.
