eMuseum Notes
This lovely little contact print (a print the same size as the negative from which it was made) shows a common scene that is nonetheless confusing to the eye. The artist uses the flat wall and the flat paper it is printed on to make an engaging geometric design but he knows we will also view it as the three-dimensional landscape that it represents and look through the window to see what lies beyond.
