eMuseum Notes
In his holographic light etchings, August Muth uses lasers and light sensitive emulsions to “sculpt light” into colorful geometric patterns that challenge the viewer’s perception of space. Light, for the artist, is both a physical phenomenon and a vehicle for contemplating the spiritual. He regards his holograms as mysterious portals that transport the viewer into a “spiritual expanse.”
