DescriptionA large snow covered mountain peak rises out of the central background. The sky is a bright blue with a patch of grey storm clouds at the left. In the foreground is flowing river that is surrounded by boulders. A shadowy grove of pine trees are in the central foreground. A small hill on the left is covered with snow and a single mountain peak can be seen in the far distance. The painting has an ornate gold frame.
