eMuseum Notes
Snowbirds may be an image of the Dark-eyed Junco, which migrates south during winter months and tends to forage for seeds on the ground. The location of Jozef Bakos’s en plein air study is unknown, although it could be New Mexico where the birds live in the mountainous areas.
