In a conversation with curator Katherine Ware on 6/10/2016, Noggle's friend and studio assistant Jim Holbrook identified the subject as the guest room at Yolanda Belloli's house on Upper Canyon Road. Visible on the wall is a carving by Yolanda's husband, Giorgio Belloli and a painting of a cat that may have been made by Yolanda.
See negative number 088123 for a 1965 photograph of the house by Karl Kernberger at the New Mexico History Museum’s Photo Archive.
