eMuseum Notes
When Dali visited New York for the opening of his first exhibition in the US, he was the guest of the Woolley family for over a month. As a gesture of his gratitude, the artist painted this portrait of Mrs. Woolley. Dali depicted Mrs. Woolley as he thought she would look some thirty years later. Remarkably, he was quite accurate.
