Historical text from the accompanying booklet reads as: Después del derrocamiento del régimen usurpador de Victoriano Huerta –problema inmediato a que se avocó el Primer Jefe- se comenzaron a perfilar grandes y trascendentales reformas sociales. Para elevarlas a la categoría de mandato constitucional, Don Venustiano Carranza convocó al Congreso Constituyente de Querétaro, que se reunió a fines de 1916 y terminó sus importantes labores legislativas a principios de 1917. Translation: After the defeat of Victoriano Huerta's usurping regime the Commander in Chief devoted all of his energy to the considerable social problems, which allowed enormous and transcendental reforms to take shape. To raise them to the category of a constitutional mandate Don Venustiano Carranza summoned the Congreso Constituyente de Querétaro (Constituent Congress ). Translated by Aída Wester, Intern 2017.
