The empty road in this untitled drawing suggests that Andrew Dasburg may have sketched this scene from his car, which was a common tendency for him in the 1960s. The improvisational approach to the architecture and trees in the middle ground resists easy identification, as Dasburg was more interested in the formal essence of the scene before him.
