Rio Chiquito lies to the south of Taos, where Andrew Dasburg lived for much of his career. He worked directly from nature but often did so from behind the wheel of his car, sketching on a board he balanced on his knees. The intersecting lines represent Dasburg's interpretation of natural rhythms and unseen forces.
