DescriptionPencil sketch for a detail of the reredos inside the Taylor Memorial Chapel in Colorado Springs, CO. The figure has a staff in its right hand and is carrying some kind of square objects on its arms. The figure has a long slim object in its left hand, perhaps a feather or leaf, and there are five flowers, each with five petals, in a vase near the right foot. The figure wears a floor length robe belted at the waist and a vertical panel of fabric from a loop around its neck. This strip of fabric has a repeating pattern of crosses or four-petaled flowers. By the figure's left foot there is a panel with twelve squares (three columns and four rows) decorated with flowers. Beneath the figure there is a strip of five squares with similar floral and abstract designs. Possibly a detail from the Taylor Memorial Chapel Reredos
