DescriptionPlan for a detail of a proposed reredos commissioned by Julie Penrose for a chapel in Colorado Springs, CO, a design that was never executed in full. This depicts the top section (see 2008.1.77). The central image is a sun surrounded by an arc of five angels. There is a crescent moon on the left and a swooping bird on the right.
